Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This policy explains how PropertyOS uses cookies and similar technologies such
as browser local storage.
Essential cookies and storage
These are required to run the service and cannot be switched off:
- Authentication — a secure, HttpOnly cookie holds your refresh token so you
stay signed in; a short-lived access token is kept in memory.
- Security — anti-abuse and rate-limiting protections.
- Preferences — local storage remembers your language, theme, and your
cookie choice (`propertyos.cookieConsent`).
Because these are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested,
they do not require consent.
Optional analytics
We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers at this time. If
we ever enable product-usage analytics, it will load only after you accept
via the cookie banner, and you can decline with no loss of core functionality.
Browser notifications
If you opt in to push notifications, your browser stores a push subscription so
we can send you alerts. You can revoke this at any time in your browser
settings.
Server logs
For security and reliability we keep server-side log files (including IP address
and request metadata). These are not cookies and do not track you across other
websites; see the Privacy Policy for retention details.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings, and change or
withdraw your analytics choice at any time via the cookie banner. Declining
optional cookies does not affect core functionality.
