Property inventory checklist
A room-by-room checklist for your entry inventory — print it, walk the property, and tick off each item so nothing gets forgotten.
A detailed entry inventory must be drawn up jointly (or by an expert) and registered together with the lease within two months of the tenant moving in. Without it, the tenant is presumed to have received the property in the state it's in at the end — making deposit deductions hard to justify.

Exterior & extras
This checklist is a general aid, not legal advice, and isn't exhaustive for every property. A jointly signed or expert-drawn entry inventory remains the legal document.
Do the whole inventory on your phone, with photos
PropertyOS lets you capture the entry inventory room by room with photos, and stores it against the lease — so it's ready when the deposit needs settling. Free, in beta.
